I am still stuck on the fact that you were told to "sit down". What a horrible instructor. You should be able to hold your position in the water by the time your diving deep IMO. Sit down is for extreme newbies or instructors that have very very VERY low standards... in my opinion...
The Magnus hasnt been around long enough to be called "dependable". ;)
I have owned my Cuda for a year and absolutely love it whether shore or boat diving. If I was buying today the Sierra with the DSS battery would be hard to resist because of the weight.
I use Rockets for wrecks and F1s for everything else. The Rockets are shorter and have more finite control IMO but the F1s are much easier on the feet/ankles.
Geez PBN, the first thought through my head was "Where is Bali?" followed quickly by, "... I bet this is a trick question, does Bali actually have a coast? hmmmm...." :crafty:
Why doesnt the SS boat do some good and go hang off the coast of some poor African nation and prevent illegal poaching of ANY fish? Do some actual good by helping local nationals whose fish stocks are being depleted by ships who illegally take fish away from countries that cannot defend...

Hard to complain though when your on a boat with 20 women in their 20s and all weigh about 35 kilos... :D
The difference is with a suunto is that if you add stops on your own at say every 3m for a minute or so then the total decompression time at the 6m or 3m (from surface) point is recalculated and decreased. I have run deep dives with the suunto alongside an X1 following a vplanner profile and...
The VT3 has been a fine computer for recreational diving for me. I like the interface, its easy to program gases and the trasmitter reception has been very reliable. It is so good that I use the VT3 on my scooter handle as my depth gauge as the transmitter has no problem connecting despite the...
Trying to decide between Justice League and Shazaam often led to fights on saturday morning between my sister and I as we both tried to turn the knob. Hard to believe there were only 3 stations at one time...
I agree with Skim, if your legs are sore you need to become stronger. Swimming and diving are sports where your survival is based on YOU helping yourself. I sympathize with sore muscles but they will go away!
As for split fins, I shudder to see them on reef most of the time. If you watch...
