I was at Itza Resort in February. Good diving, great meals from Chef Douglas. We had a group of 7 and had the place to ourselves, with Elvis as our dive guide. A great trip overall.

Yes, a new shop opened up, I heard from friends who were there last year. I suggest you avoid the shop mentioned in Undercurrent 2009 piece, and go with one of the other two. That's all the info I have.
