Thanks Phil. Yes I use the Inon strobes. I saw the ad for another brand in the uwpmag. Where are you off to in Philippines? We are heading to Dumaguette for some muck action and Apo island in 2 weeks
Hi phil. Great review as usual. Can you please tell me about the domes for your strobes? Ikelite the best or are other brands okay? Do you use them all the time? Worth it? Good for macro? thanks
I love my Zeiss 12mm Touit lens with the Zen 170mm dome. Best WA for my NEX7. I also use the 50mm Macro lens. With a good focus light i tis terrific. Would love the 90mm but need to save up some more money
What are peoples thoughts on the WWL-1 in what circumstances will you use it? A port and a lens?

Jack how about the Touit 12mm lens with the WWL-1 on a NEX7?
Wow thanks Phil. Is it front heavy? Is the lens itself heavy? cheers

Hi Phil Thoughts on A7II versus A7RII underwater? thanks. Worth price difference?
Great write up Phil good summary. Just a shame no mention of the Zeiss 50mm macro lens I guess you didnt get this for review? Also I think the Zeiss 12mm is absolutely superb. Glad you are back in the Sony fold ha ha.
Yes agree if shooting RAW then you dont need to set white balance. Start at manual settings. I have found this to be an excellent set of tutorials form Scott and his team and have learnt a lot. Suggestions on settings. Beginners guide to underwater photography|Underwater Photography Guide
Phil what combo of ports and extensions did you use please with the A7II? This is what was kindly suggested to me by ReefPhoto for my NEX7. Could ditch the focus gear and just use AF.
Nauticam Macro Port 60 for Nikon AF-S 60mm w/ M67 Thread...
I use this lens a lot for close ups inside wrecks and caves, etc. I simply use the Zeiss 24mm under the Nauticam 4.33 dome. No extension rings required. Works very well. Will be perfect for your sharks, etc
Definitely the RX100. Voted best UW compact camera for a number of years now. Great lens. But you are asking on a Sony forum :)

Sony RX100 IV First Shots: the new souped-up, speed-demon RX pocket cam hits our lab!
I bought one of the iDas adapters. I found it very hard to screw the lens in and out of it. The metal seemed quite soft. I would fork out the extra bucks and buy the Nauticam one if it were me.
