Rip Craig. I dove with Craig here in South Carolina a number of times for fossilized shark teeth. He was a good diver, a good buddy, and a great friend. My condolences to the family he will be missed.

It's almost impossible to say without a lot more information about the diver's gear and configuration. I hope they release more information so we can learn from this tragedy.

Being on the east coast I'm not familiar with the site or the conditions. Plenty has been mentioned in this thread about the site but I haven't seen (and its possible I missed it) what the water temp was at the time of the accident. Could somebody educate me on that.
