Dove Vista Point with Steve and Beth this morning. Water level was significantly down from last time we were out there.
Surface water temp. was somewhere in the mid 80's however, there's an abrupt thermocline at 40'. Visibility in some spots is at best 15' to 20' however, very cloudy.
Nice...
Dove Biesmeyer Point with Steve on Saturday morning. Had to tip-toe around the boaters, jet skiers, shore fishermen, campers, bathers and non-divers to get into the water.
Water level was surprising high for this time of year. Water temperature in somewhere in the high 70's. Visibility above...
Beth, Steve and I were diving Beismeyer Point this morning. There appeared to be a number of scuba classes in the immediate area.
Upon surfacing from our first dive, we noted that CPR was being performed on a diver with one of the classes. One of the by-standers indicated that the individual...
Dove Vista Point with Steve this morning. The place was absolutely packed. I've never seen so many divers out there. Parking was at a premium.
Beautiful morning. Wind was dead calm on the surface. Thermocline is at approximately 35". Surface water is comfortable however, below the that, you'll...
Steve and I dove the point at the end of the road at Spring Canyon Landing this morning. Alot of divers and a couple of classes. Water at the surface was 85 degrees. There is a thermocline at approximately 50' which will get your attention. Visibility is a cloudy 15' to 20'. Always a pleasure...
Dove Vista Point with Steve on Saturday morning (05/04/12). The place was packed. Visibility above the thermocline (53') was poor at best. Below that, maybe 20' to 25'. Water temp. is high 50's to low 60's. We were both good in 7mm suites.
We came across a old wooden grandfather's clock on the...
Dove Spring Canyon Landing last Saturday morning with Steve. Water temp was 52 degrees. Visibility at depth (60') was maybe 20' to 25'. Even in a dry suit, your hands and feet get numb.
The water level is still rising. Looking forward to a good spring of diving.
Bill
Dove Spring Canyon Landing this morning (12/01/12) with Steve. Water level is up another 4' to 5'. Water temp. was 64 degrees - visibility is a cloudy 15' to 20', depending on depth. First dive was due north to the inverted wreck. Second dive was to the rail and over the boat ramp to the wall at...
Dove Spring Canyon Landing this morning with Steve (ScubaSteve2000). Beautiful morning out at the lake. The water level is up maybe 3' to 4'. Unfortunately, the road out to the point is now gone (i.e. submerged). First dive was due north to about 48'. Below that, there is no visibility...
John:
Thanks for the response.
Other than Cabin site, can you suggest any other shore dives on Lake Mohave? Maybe on the Nevada side of the lake?
Thanks, Bill
Dove the point at the end of the road at Spring Canyon Landing this morning with Steve, Gilad and John. Water temp was 72 degrees and visibility was a cloudy 10' to 15'. No thermocline. The first dive was to the south of the point in the direction of the old dam. We went down to about 90'...
Mr. "dmorre19"
What part of the Ikelite reference don't you understand?
Wait until you have a problem with your DC800. Call SeaLife customer service and have them tell you that, despite your best efforts, it's all your fault that the housing flooded. Of course, they'd be more than happy to...
"Dandy"
Good for you. Drop me a PM when it floods.

Dandy:
With all due respect, take a look at the Ikelite product line. It's a little more pricey than SeaLife however, I think it's well worth it.
I'm done with this thread, take care.
Hey StreetJudge79:
I feel your pain. I had the same problem a number of years ago with a DC500. SeaLife does not stand behind their products. All your're going to get from these people is alot of lip service.
Buy yourself an Ikelite houseing with which accepts an over the counter camera.
Not to change the subject however, I'm in full agreement with Pete in that Lake Pleasant is a real asset to recreational divers. On the other hand, I know divers who wouldn't get their equipment dirty diving in Lake Pleasant.
A few issues. First, when I tell non-divers that I dive the lake I...
