Pinnacle 5mm Wetsuit - Brand New

I'm open to offers if there is interest.

Pinnacle 5mm Wetsuit - Brand New

It's not merino. I found that I prefer a 3mm shorty or no wetsuit at all for warm water diving. Guess that's what happens when you're used to diving in the Puget Sound.

Pinnacle 5mm Wetsuit - Brand New

I have a Pinnacle 5mm wetsuit, size XL that I bought for a trip but never used, still has the tags on it. I paid $220 if memory serves correctly. $150 shipped in continental US.

    Suunto Cobra Dive Computer

Selling a Suunto Cobra Air integrated console style dive computer. I have had it for a couple years and intended to use it as a backup. Never ended up using it except to test it. It's in very good shape, only very minute scratches on the plastic cover and none that can be seen under water. It's...

BLADEFISH Sea Jets - A Completely Different Approach

LOL, they're calling it the worlds fastest "Seajet". Presumably it's the worlds only "Seajet" wich conveniently also makes it the lightest, cheapest, sexiest, most likey to win an academy award etc....

BLADEFISH Sea Jets - A Completely Different Approach

Wow, this is one of those threads that keeps on giving. I just watched some videos of the Bladefish on youtube - real videos as opposed to marketing ones. I can see the point about the fish laughing. BTW I'm not affiliated with Dive Xtras, I do own a Sierra.

    new tug Submarine

I like the handle set up for right or left handed operation, but that throttle control looks kinda wonky. I'll look forward to seeing some specs.

2011 UW Scooter racing - DPV owners

Seems like one way to get it more competitive would be to cap the battery capacity. Then you would get divers trying to be the most efficient, drafting each other etc. and trying to determine how to make the most out of a limited resource. I wonder if you could have the race officials discharge...

Drowned snorkeler off Lanai -- any more details?

I was there when this incident occured. I'm really not sure how much information is appropriate to be shared on a public forum but I can correct one thing for the record. She was definitely diving on SCUBA. Why the're talking about snorkeling I have no clue. It was a very tragic accident. My...

PLEASE: Don't dive without DAN insurance AND the cheapest plan is the Wrong one!

DAN's probably ok if you need a chamber ride. As to covering "dive related accidents" like they claim, their insurance is garabage. I have their preferred plan. I broke my tib. and fib. resulting in big surgery on dec 31st of last year when I slipped and fell on the exit a few feet from the...

    help with recommendations

I would definitely go for a BP/W setup. Remember, if you want to Ice Dive you'll likely at some point be diving doubles). Get a one piece harness, a steel plate for cold water or maybe an AL plate for warmer water and any wing that's got the right amount of lift (for a single tank in cold water...

I'd love to see some pics of your homebuilt DPV if you have some.

    2009 tahoe benchmark posted

From my unscientific experience a slow scisor kick would likely slow you down at even half that speed. Have any pictures of your homebuilt DPV? I'd love to build one but I don't know where to even start.

    DPV Wish list

While obviously long burntime, speed, reliability, battery life and a host of other things would be great, we're not going to get all of it any time soon in a sub $1000 scooter. I would say: Under 50 lbs, even better if it's under 40. Burntime of 45-50 minutes, that's usually plenty for...

    More Long Hose Ignorance

Thanks for the laugh, Lamont, That was awesome! Edit: Thanks for the chuckle, Lamont - Just keeping it civil :) Although it's a great idea, I highly doubt you'll get a response from the author. He obviously hasn't spent any time actually using or even talking to someone who uses a...

    Jet fins for your hands?

Yes, undoubtedly the endorsment of your product is the ultimate test of one's intelligence. Hey if you really want to sell a buch of them you should put an ad in the back of Popular Mechanics - right next to the lawnmower powered helicopters and the sea monkeys. :rofl3:

Large Scale Turbulence Down-Stream of Wreck?

From your desciption it sounded like you were doing this dive on a single tank ? If so, wow!

    Deco obligation during Emergency Recall

If it's a few minutes of unintentional deco it's honestly probably not a huge deal either way. I'd probably complete my deco and then surface. Around here we have alot of current and it is always understood that the dive boat will not leave divers in the water. Generally speaking the current is...

    Underwater Photo "Walk"

Thanks Dan, It was nice talking to you yesterday at the LDS. If my calender allows I'll definitely try to make it. Especially if I have my camera rig put together by then.
