EXPLORERS CHALLENGE: Best Of East Indonesia
D Scuba Club & Sea Safari Cruises present an ultimate photography event in the amazing ocean journey.
An event that will put photographers consistency and endurance to the test, while exploring some of the best locations from the Heart of Worlds Coral Triangle, the best of East Indonesia.
You will compete with other passionate travelers to produce one of your best photo portfolios on both underwater and topside photography, from Raja Ampat to Komodo.
Participant may join one trip or all of three trips onboard MV Sea Safari VI, scheduled below:
Trip I: Kingdom Of Heaven 11-20 May 2015 (10 Days/9 Nights) USD 2,925/person.
Depart from Sorong City of West Papua Province, dive Raja Ampat & Misool, Seram, Banda Neira and Ambon, trip ends in Ambon City, Province of Maluku.
Trip II: Sea Of Volcanoes 21-30 May 2015 (10 Days/9 Nights) USD 2,925/person.
Depart from Ambon City, dive Ambon Region, Gunung Api and Pulau Penyu in Banda Sea, Wetar & Alor Region, trip ends in Maumere City of Flores, Province of East Nusa Tenggara.
Trip III: Dragon Heritage 31 May-6 June 2015 (7 Days/6 Nights) USD 1,950/person.
Depart from Maumere City, dive Maumere, Raja Island, North of Flores, Gili Lawa, Central Komodo National Park, trip ends in Labuan Bajo City, Province of East Nusa Tenggara
A Portfolio consists of 15 of your best photographs, and all images must be taken during the dates of the chosen scheduled trip(s):
PRIZES
Up to 6 (six) photographers will be selected from all the three trips of Explorers Challenge event, and the overall winners will be notified by emails on following the announcement on 15th June 2015:

A Portfolio consists of 15 of your best photographs, and all images must be taken during the dates of the chosen scheduled trip(s):
- 10 (ten) images taken underwater. Split/over-under images are permitted.
- The number of images from Macro photography submitted must not exceed the maximum limit of 5 (five) images.
- 5 (five) topside images containing the following elements you encounter as you travel: Nature & Landscape, Human Interest, and The Boat & Its Surrounding. These images must be taken from the places you visited within the duration of your chosen trip dates.
PRIZES
Up to 6 (six) photographers will be selected from all the three trips of Explorers Challenge event, and the overall winners will be notified by emails on following the announcement on 15th June 2015:
- Gold Portfolio will receive USD 2,500 in cash
- Silver Portfolio will receive USD 1,500 in cash
- Bronze Portfolio will receive USD 1,000 in cash
- First Honorary Mention will receive a 50% Discount Voucher (worth as high as USD 2,250) for 1 (One) Live Aboard Trip with Sea Safari Cruise to any scheduled destinations & valid for one year.
- Second Honorary Mention will receive a 25% Discount Voucher (worth as high as USD 1,125) for 1 (One) Live Aboard Trip with Sea Safari Cruise to any scheduled destinations & valid for one year.
- Best Of Show (one underwater photograph that receives the highest individual score) will be awarded One Free Live Aboard Trip with Sea Safari Cruise to any scheduled destinations (worth as high as USD 4,500) and valid for one year
