I spent a few hours yesterday dealing with an electrical issue on the boat. I replaced three batteries and jiggled a few wires until the engine finally started. We gave it a sea trial by making a late morning dive on the Redondo Barge.

Visibility was poor during the decent but cleared up at the bottom thanks to a strong current. I tried to photograph simnias on top of the barge but kept getting knocked around. I wasn't finding many subjects and was ready to call it another bad dive when I found a large Phidiana hiltoni on a piece of rust. I took a few photos and then gave it to Merry who was checking out an octopus nest.
