A question about drysuit seals

Had the same issue for about a year. Went with the Apollo Bio-seal for a stint, but using that I went through seals every 6 months...it was gettign expensive.

Now, I just powder the seals and apply lots of powder (talc from a billiards shop) directly on my neck and haven't had the scabbing and nasty neck abrasion problem since.

Thanks for all the replies.

scubado - I'm only getting the burn/scabbing if I'm doing 3dives+ within 48hrs. As I said before, a single dive and I don't have any irritation or rash at all.

fdog - I always treat my seals with a healthy dose of sealsaver after rinsing/drying my equipement.

I will try the talc next time out and see if that helps.
