I agree with the suggestion not to wait too long. I think I have made that mistake and now will mostly be paying for a piece of paper that will allow me on deeper dives with some dive operations.

I am a new diver, but I have done most of the AOW specialty dive activities. I hope to benefit from the peak performance buoyancy, but with a couple of exceptions most are pretty ordinary activities that you will get on one trip to a Caribbean dive resort.

I am looking at combining the training with a trip someplace interesting and challenging to get the max benefit. Our local dive shop is doing the St. Lawrence Seaway in Sept and if the scheduling works I am hoping to do it there.
