oh goody let new filter size debate and what fits what begin........



$400, for a go pro housing? wrong price point for the general audience, as people won't even spend that, or 1/2 that, on lighting.


Hard enought to point out the advantages of a SRP filter at ~$75, than other external plastics for $25..........some people don't even want to spend $25, so the $400 aluminum housing is going to be very small nitch market.
 
Would gladly pay that kind of money for a 3D housing plus a hack that would accomodate bigger batteries and a display...but I'm a dreamer.

Just to revive a long-time dead thread: is there something reasonable for the H4(black)?

My points:
Robust marine aluminimum design
Possibility to replace the lens/port (I am planning to mod the stock lens of the cam, would be
great to accomodate longer/zoom(!) lenses).
Dome lens with diopter as in the pro housings (Deeppro, Subspace) for edge-to-edge sharpness.
