Bonaire, What did you wish you knew before you went?

Lion-Fish - personally I think there is more personal danger of being aboard a live-a-board then diving in the north or south end of Bonaire. The problem of being 5-6 or more hours from landfall and a hospital and chamber because you're on a live-a-board is a much bigger problem, much, much bigger. Another far worse scenario is diving remote places such as Chuuk Lagoon and having a issue and having no medical solutions available but the sh*t hole hospital there. Both of those scenarios, diving Chuuk and diving live-a-boards are far and away much riskier than diving Bonaire.
 
For what it's worth, the chamber on Bonaire is damn near new, is well-staffed, holds multiple divers and is top of the line. We went for a tour last year and were impressed. The things that occupy your surface interval when your partner is a hyperbaric researcher...
