I have latex DUI zip Neck seal with a small chunk torn out of the top of the seal. Is it possible to glue a new seal to the base of the old seal and trim the old seal down to the glue joint? I am talking about glueing the new seal to the existing latex seal at the base not to the zip seal its self.
At a hundred plus buck for new/spare seal this may be more economical if it can be done.

I know it can be done to wrist seals but the necks are a lot different shape.

I have done the neck seal twice. Much more difficult to do the wrist seals. Took a lot of time and patience to get the two pieces of the zip neck seal apart. Also challenging getting the two pieces lined up properly again when gluing.
