It’s been an active 24 hours as we’ve made another huge leap in our Challenge total but this time it’s illustrative of all the various ways you can help support your Chamber.

We start with Cynthia Yonker (aka Cyd) who again this year comes to us with a Platinum-level donation. Cyd is a former Dive Safety Officer and a longtime Chamber crew member, so she understands how beneficial our Chamber can be from multiple perspectives. On top of that, her employer (E. & J. Gallo Winery) has a matching grant program so they match her $5K with another $5K. Yahoo!!!

Moving to the Gold to level, we have another “in memory” donation, this time from longtime contributors Jeremy & Marlo Wolf through their family foundation, in memory of Jeremy’s brother David Wolf. Their donation is a reminder that you can designate your contribution to be in memory of someone no longer with us (and we will list your name in parentheses).

On the Silver level, we have Layne Ballard again this year. Layne is another regular supporter of our Chamber and every year he does his part to help keep us going 24/7/365.

On top of that, there are three Bronze-level donations and one “Other” as well and of those, two are “in memory.”

All of these donations serve the same purpose: To help ensure that our Chamber is available whenever a diver faces a problem that requires recompression. We hope you agree that for all of us who live in this area and dive, even if you don’t dive SoCal as much anymore, we have a duty to our fellow divers and our diving community to pitch in with whatever we can to keep our Chamber funding on solid ground. Today’s donations go a long way to meeting that need.

So who’s next to add their name to our list? We’re flirting with $60,000 and another day like today will push us past that. Will your name be on our next update? Here’s the direct link to help accomplish that: https://usc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dnemil47PUc8aGy
