We will be in San Pedro early March and are looking for shops that allow your bottom time to be based on your air consumption and not a hard stop time. The few we have spoken with have a 45 min limit regardless of tank pressure. Any suggestions?

Most LOB's are focused on folks to be back onboard at generally the same time. Your best option to accomplish your goal is to arrange to be first off the boat and last back on. That keeps everyone happy.

There seems to be quite a few operators available to you. Ask them about their policies and then choose.

My wife and I did a week at Turquoise Bay with Subway Watersports. Our average dive time was 59 minutes (50-66). I would think you should get an hour.
