Recently Naples Spearfishing League has garnered a lot of notoriety on local news networks regarding a petition by member Bill D'Antuono. Here is the petition link so you can read and sign it. https://www.change.org/petitions/co...=url_share&utm_campaign=url_share_before_sign

Just wondering....
Was there a real justification for this ban?
Say for instance overfishing at one time.
Or was it the dumba$$ed redneck fishermen's idea in the 50's to get rid of a tiny portion of competition.
Or was it the dumba$$ed Yankee invaders idea to stop the rednecks/crackers.
Either way, it might have been a good idea at one time, but no longer.
