My Suunto compass wound up sitting right next to a magnet for about 6 hours. Is the thing okay? In general South still seems to be where South should be and the sun sets in the West. I don't have another compass handy to check it against at the moment.

Would hate to go diving and discover that my 190 is my buddy's 175.

Please advise. Thanks folks.:)
