Coral Bleaching

How is the coral bleaching among all the islands. I went to Curacao in December and only did two dives because I was so disappointed with the bleached coral. I asked the Bonaire thread, and the responses were similar to my experience. Locals told me it would come back in two or three months.

So! How are the corals where you have been diving? I'm thinking of going to St Maartin in March. How is it? Please let me know.

In the USVI we are seeing most species recovering from bleaching. However, we expect to see a surge of coral diseases following such an intense bleaching event.

Was in Roatan this past November and the bleaching was very bad. Huge sections of reef that were pure white.
