This is such BS. The Caymanians have been actively destroying their coral reef heritage for years.The loss of habitat on Grand Cayman is due to over development, inadequate sewage facilities for over 1,000,000 visitors per year, digging up all the mangrove, fertilizer from the increasing number of golf courses and lawns, overfishing, global warming and bleaching. Cayman is certainly not unique in this regard and I guess this project is a gesture in the right direction, but a few snippets of coral growth won't solve anything except to ease some possible guilty consciences.
 
The do plenty of planting here in the Upper keys
 
gotta start some where and reduce destruction at the same time.
 
As they destroy the reefs in the harbor for the new mega dock?
