Out of interest I'm trying to date all my Apeks regs. I tried emailing a few addresses and had no reply (consumersupport-EMEA@ apeksdiving.com, info@ apeks.co.uk, as well as several combinations of ‘Landon Helsby’ @ on apeksdiving.com and aqualung.com addresses).

I know Apeks keeps this info, but how to get hold of someone?

TIA
Tom

it doesn't really matter, they all use the same rebuild kits. anything with a 1/2 inch primary port is TX/ATX version and anything later is 3/8 inch LP.

Call them, I did this recently and they were very helpful. The first part of the serial number is the year/date.

If the printing is still legible, the Serial Number is YYMM###### where YY is the year and MM is the month.

Here are pics of an XTX50 2nd and the box it came in. As you can see from the Serial Number in pics (221104293), it was made in Nov 2022...and the box further states on the 28th of Nov.

Also here are pics of two FSR 1st stages (two pics because the location of the Serial Number moved sometime between 2011 and 2023). One made in Aug 2011 (1108 0642) and the other in Jan 2023 (2301 00061).

Thanks
However my 1st stages seem to have random numbers: 509699, 903296, 716283, 610 0821. My DS4 does however conform to the 'code' 1905.....
