Did Aeries do a recall on defect OP springs, like some other manufacturer's did? Today I had the OP valve completely fail and when I took it apart the spring had significant corrosion and had snapped into two pieces.

It was the OP valve at the top of the pull dump. Will dealers take care of it under warranty?

Thanks

Call your Aeris dealer. The short answer to the recall question is yes. Aeris is one of the lines affected by those sucky springs. The good news is that it's a std OPV. Probably find a replacement for a few bucks in a number of places like 3.95 at Dive Gear Express - BC Overpressure Relief and Dump Valve | Dive Gear Express®

Thanks.. it is the pull dump device..
