Dive Shops in the Alameda, Oakland, North-Western SanFran Region

Heya,

So, I find myself flying to SFO tomorrow to spend Monday - Friday working from there. I leave again Saturday evening. Sadly, that does not allow me to stop and actually dive

However, I am considering gear-browsing for a couple of odd bobs and pieces and was wondering if there is a Dive Shop you can recommend for me to go to.

Steele's Scuba is in Oakland but has odd hours - check before going. Also, his inventory is pretty haphazard and not well suited for browsing. Bamboo Reef in San Francisco is probably your best bet for that.
I'm curious why you specifically mentioned NW SF.

Bamboo Reef in SF. Lots of inventory, friendly service. You certainly can have a very good "browse" @ "The Reef"
