There are not that many liveaboards that go as far as the Sudanese border. We went last October on a week-long exploration with the M/Y Seaduction to lesser-known dive sites like Elba reef and Shaab Ohrob. A number of wrecks were only recently discovered, like Sabri Baba 1 ( a fishing vessel which sank in 2019 on the way from Istanbul to Somalia) and the Levanzo wreck located at the eastern region of the Elba reef. On all these spots we were the only boat on the reef. The previous trip from the M/Y Seaduction to this area was in spring. A lot of pelagic life was also seen then such as hammerhead sharks, a whale shark and a manta ray. On this trip, we saw the classic marine life of the Red Sea with beautiful panaroma's underwater.
Here some highlights:

Do you mean the conshelf remains of Cousteau?
That's quite far from the border of Sudan. It's north of Port Sudan. I visited it about 8 years ago on a liveaboard in Sudan leaving from Port Sudan. But that was before the war.
