On the contrary, we did answer your question and we put a DX-2G camera into a DX-1G housing and found stated results yesterday after your post. They are very close, but the 1G housing does not activate the buttons as described. We do not have a GX200 nor do we have the information regarding any specific differences between the DX-2G and GX200. They DO differ from the 1G and GX100. Feel free to conduct your own tests.
The reason the DX-1G and 2G are sold as sets (camera and housing) is that they are supplied from Japan in that manner.
