Hi All

Not sure if any of you have seen this, it is a very European problem to do with fish quota's

Once the fisherman hit the quota of a certain species it is illegal for them to land any more they catch.

This leads to the practice of discard, and tons of fish get chucked dead back into the sea.

This is a massive waste and probably not helping stocks of the at threat species.

More info is here Hugh's Fish Fight - Half of all fish caught in the North Sea is thrown back overboard dead

The law designed to protect our fish stocks is outdated and not working and this needs changing.

Please have a look and sign the petition.
