:) My definition of snorkeling involves leaving the surface occasionally. So by that definition snorkeling requires equalising. I have snorkeled since my younger days as a kid so this mask would just not work for me.

And my personal definition of freediving involves going below around 10m / 33ft on a single breath.
 
Can you imagine if that mask filled up with water and someone aspirated it? Yeah, I can see why they limit it to surface only.
 
All in all it does not look like something I am going to be interested in.
 
Best use is as your "space helmet" as part of your 6th Street Halloween costume
 
Now, if it had a cave snorkel... :D :D :D
