Hi all
My g12 housing flooded. Can I cut all the ttl wiring except the black to continue using my housing on manual for this trip, before I send it back for service?
Thanks,

Chris,

You could, but this would void any warranty. Also, this could damage the camera or strobe electronics, therefore we would recommend against it.

The safest bet is to leave the hotshoe disconnected and shoot with the camera flash, a slaved strobe, or just with available light.

For service, send the housing to:

Ikelite Underwater Systems
Attn: Service Dept.
50 W. 33rd St.,
Indianapolis, IN 46208

Best Regards,
