I was a Dive Rite dealer years ago, I have an older set , the Hurricane' its an excellent unit and I have discovered HOG gear, Hog is half the cost and every bit the performance of Dive Rite...It is the choice of IDEA Instructors.... comments?

HOG is great. I dive a D3 first stage paired with their Zenith second stage. I've got over 200 dives on the set and they still perform flawlessly. If I had to buy gear all over again I would however go with Deep6.

They used to use the same manufacturer, but not anymore. I find the finish and precision on the Dive Rite to be far, far superior. There are a few technical differences as they are both clones, but there are differences.
