Has anyone tried the Ear Popper?

I discovered this at a pharmacy recently -- the Ear Popper. Since they mention scuba diving in their adverts, I checked out their website but couldn't find anything specific to diving with a cold, for example, although both are mentioned. Any thoughts and/or experiences are appreciated. :)

    No experience, but my thoughts:

Apparently this thing blows air up your nose while you swallow. While it might temporarily assuage congestion, I don’t see how you’d use it during a dive. So cautions against diving with a cold remain.

$200 CDN is pretty expensive for a battery operated fan.

    I don't think "ear popper" is a great name for a kid-based product. If I were a parent...I'd like something that didn't suggest a rupture! :D
