Any North Florida divers ever done Hays Spring off the Chipola River? Does anyone have any information about the cave? Or a way to get there that doesnt involve the three mile Battan Death March marathon drag/stumpknock/paddle/dive/paddle
/stumpknock/drag scenerio to which I was subjected to today? To say flow was weak would be a significant understatement. I don't even think 3 was flowing. And apparently, some redneck with a Zebco lost him a "nice bream" and about 50' of invisible monofilament into and amongst the cave line, spidey style. So, word up.

Aside from seeing it on the online spring refferences, I've never heard of anyone talk about it. Definately have not dived it.

If you managed to get out to it, I'd like to hear about it, here in public or via PM - thanks.

Ok, I'll do a trip report on it soon. I have been twice, once as strictly a paddler, once as a diver.
