There is an enormous amount to be learned here on SB, but one of the best things you can do is simply dive. Training is great. I always encourage folks to acquire additional training beyond the OW certification; you can learn a lot from courses. But at the end of the day, you always learn from every dive and there is no substitute for experience. Dive, learn, enjoy!
