Hello underwater world!

Hi, I am Alessandro, originally from Italy and living in Australia from four years now.

I have been skin diving for years, always challenging my friends in who got deeper or further away, all while dreaming scuba diving and rebreathers. Sadly troubles in compensating one ear stopped me from trying it.
I recently put my hands on a PADI OWD book and studied it all in one day...that didn't helped in my urge to get undewater.
Now, after years from a botched surgery procedure that I took exclusively to solve the problem and get to dive, it seems that I am better able to compensate without great troubles. No problems in airline travels, which is great and was impossible before.

I work in software development (with special regard to www-facing applications) and had the idea to join passion and work to create a better system for diving centers to manage bookings etc.


I will open two threads shortly, one regarding my medical troubles with the compensation issue and one regarding the booking procedure for diving centers (so to allow me to plan the flowchart for the system I am working on).
