Also, the comment about the Explorer not quite having the duration of the Prism... That's the understatement of the thread. I know people doing 10 hour dives on Prisms. Good luck doing a 3 hour dive on the Explorer. 300% is a HUGE difference.
"I know people" using helium in their Explorers as well. Fact is, Explorer rated at 2 hrs., Prism rated at 4. So, more like 100% difference, which is just about the difference in cost of the units. Both unit have their niche, and both fill it well. I dive a Meg and an Explorer. Different strokes.
There are no effective CO2 monitors used
Explorer has it as an option, my experience has shown that it works well. Also my opinion that it should not be optional.
$19 in sorb lasts 6 hours.

The Prism 2 is rated for only 240 minutes 4 hours, not 6 hours per the Hollis manual.

I, personally, am not willing to bet my life on it.
