This is Part 1 of my COVID experience. I began feeling odd during a rather shallow and non-eventful dive. My head started to hurt and I began to feel fullness around my eyes. Shortly after emerging from water, I began to sneeze and cough. There was a lot of sinus pressure, my throat started to feel sore, and I began feeling like crap overall. When I sneezed or coughed, mucus started coming out of my tear ducts and I suspected what was going to happen next.

In short, I got COVID and conjunctivitis in both eyes. I don't know where I got that piece of info, but mucus in the eyes almost guarantees "pink eye." A prompt visit to urgent care and $1 antibiotic drops fixed the issue. So if you ever experience the same thing, don't wait or second guess go to urgent care right away.

Hope that does not happen too often!
