Ikelite 100A substrobe has never seen water. It was my backup and never needed it. Works with digital cameras in manual mode only. NO TTL. I have used the ikelite AI substrobe which is the older model of the 100A with nikon d40x,d60,d90 and other nikon digital cameras $200usd Tested and working like brand new
