Imitation GoPro Cameras from China. Any Good?

and warned there are a lot of counterfeit SJ cameras out there (even on amazon) suggesting you buy directly from the manufacturer at sjcam.com or from B&H photo.

That strikes me as humorous, given that these are pretty much counterfit gopro! Beware imitation imitation gopro cameras!

From what I have been seeing there are even fake imitations of the fake SJ Cams.

I do believe that is an accurate assessment I also suspect that even another "imitation" could be added but I have no conclusive evidence to support that theory. Yet.

I've taken my sj4000 for several dives with no problems going as deep as 90'. Sample clips can be seen below, all of which were filmed with the same sJ4000

At what depth and what filter was used?

most of the footage above was filmed at 50-70' although I've taken it as deep as 90' in the palancar caves of Cozumel.

I cannot remember where exactly i obtained my filter, but i use something similar to this: Contour Red Color Correction Lens Filter Contour 2 GPS Underwater Diving Scuba | eBay

ive never used a Red filter while diving in tropical blue waters , id rather just film it the way it is.... that Sj4000 video is great !!
