Hey team

Looking to disassemble the ADV in my Sidekick to clean it up - really should put a filter on it 😬

I note the connection from the paddle to the valve on head of unit

How do you proceed from here?

Whilst I am considering ditching the adv completely, I’d rather not loosen off the paddle without having to.

Pretty simple from here mate, note where on the shaft the paddle sits, loosen the hex grub screw and remove the paddle, when replacing the paddle be aware the rod is hollow so don't over tighten the hex grub screw, nip it up till it just stops, no need to go any further.

Riiiight.

I think I misunderstood what was happening with the paddle when adjusting the ADV sensitivity.

I will put some pics up for anyone else searching in future as penance :)

so, yeah, I completely misunderstood what was going on with that screw.

So for anyone wondering in future, it breaks down like this
