We looked at conditions yesterday and decided to do housework instead. It only looked slightly better this morning but we hadn't dived for awhile so I decided to get out there. The south swell was relentless as we motored around Palos Verdes.

We made our first dive at Little Reef near Pt. Vicente. Life was next to non existent. We sometimes went several minutes between photo subjects.

After chasing yet another fishing boat out of the MPA I thought Garden Spot near Abalone Cove would get us out of the swells. It did, but only for a few minutes. The swells combined with the outgoing tide caused a sandstorm on the reef. We stuck it out but I think I would have enjoyed another day of housework instead.

Wow. Outstanding photos under less than ideal conditions. You might have enjoyed another day of housework, but your photos made my day. Thank you.

I agree with Altamira!
