Hi,

I have a 2y old M1 mask that is by far my preferred mask. I made the mistake of bringing it hundreds of times to the swimming pool, in chloride water. And I also stored it a few times in my fin pocket where it pick up some sand scratches.

The skirt is still in perfect condition but the glass is blemished and scratched. I tried using various pastes, such as plastic phone window polishing paste or mask prep pate, and detergents and solvants but I am now considering to disassemble the window to have it surfaced and repaired by a pro.

Does anyone know how to dissolve the glue that attaches the windows to the mask without damageing the skirt ?
