there IS relevance, which is that distractions can lead to the situation which relates to this "very nice young man that drowned". you can't see it? It was a point well made, and my post was intended simply to offer a viable solution which would not create such a risk factor. That's a problem for you?

quality does not necessarily need to be compromised to get decent video while at the same time remaining totally aware of one's underwater orientation, which has implications in this thread.
