It is so oft repeated in vintage circles, "those things will kill you" usually directed at double hose regulators but in this case, concerning the Tekna, hardly vintage anyways, well, there could be some grain of truth to it. That said, I still have one dive-able set of T2100s. Not the T2100B which was the plastic housing version with the metal innards And the T2100BX, plastic everything, please just smash it with a hammer and be done. N
