Oceanic Atom 3.1 v. 3.0 Comparison

Besides the removal of the buddy check feature, can someone please give me a breakdown of differences between the Oceanic Atom 3.0 and the 3.1? I have looked online and cannot find anything that compares them side by side or outlines the differences.

Is one more reliable with transmitter? Different sizes? Difference in info that is displayed or navigation between screens? Battery life/battery change process?

I should note that this is going to be a backup for my Perdix so they will be sharing a transmitter (and the reason I'm looking for something used since it's not my main computer, I just want something with similar algorithm.)

According to an old thread I found, the buddy check is the only difference, and they took it out due to patent infringement. Otherwise, seems like they are the same computer. Hope that helps,
