This year, local artist Ron Cornelison (who also designed our Chamber Day 2009 logo artwork) has created a very special & unique Chamber Day painting. Ron asked us to send him a multitude of pictures from past Chamber Days so that he could choose elements from those pictures to create a truly one-of-a-kind artistic interpretation of Chamber Day. You can see the result above.
Ron's original art was done as oil-on-canvas. Because Ron is also a professional printer, he has a high-resolution large-format printer at his disposal. The plan is to print a limited number (maximum 100) of these prints on canvas. All will be numbered and signed by the artist. If you'd like one for yourself, you may reserve one now. Reservations will be taken until we've had 100 requests or the end of May, whichever comes first.
The size of the actual print is 20" x 16". There is a matte around the print which makes the overall dimension 24" x 20" matted. Your choice is whether or not to get it to you framed or unframed. The matted/framed version is yours for a $175 donation to the Chamber. If you'd like it to frame it yourself, the matted-only version is yours for a $125 donation. You have a choice of being able to pick up your print or have it shipped to you ($20 shipping for the framed print / $10 shipping for the unframed matted print).
