Dr Paul Thomas bubbled: This is of very doubtful legality. Indeed a criminal offence here under the Trades Descriptions Act, unless of course he does not claim to be supplying pure oxygen.
I suppose "O2" does not legally mean pure oxygen.

To be honest with you I did not see any references to the % O2, or indication that it was pure O2. The place changed hands, the OXYGEN Bar thing was a short fad. I haven't heard of any others for several years now.

I thought it was funny, and I still do.
Many Nitrox divers profess to be less fatiqued, even "energised" after diving on nitrox.
I personaly cannot say I have felt any physical difference after diving nitrox.

I agree with your accessment of placebo effect.
