I think I want to spend a bit of time in the pool now that I have my certification. I want to really hone buoyancy control, and underwater movement.

Are there any pools that allow this, and are deep enough for this practice? Ideally it would be nice to find one where they also rent equipment so I can just show up, practice, and then leave without having to haul gear around.

I know there are several scuba schools around with pools. But I dont know if they allow non students to use them. Any advice on a good place to go?

I was a bit surprised. I asked one of my local shops today, and they quoted me $95 an hour to use their pool... I think I'll have to look at some alternatives.
