I'm looking for a more sturdy HUD holder for Prism 2 than the one coming with the unit. Googling didn't bring much useful, so asking the community.

The Prism uses the Hollis BOV out of the box. The stock HUD is actually the original Shearwater HUD, which pre-dates Shearwater NERD, if I recall. The original Shearwater HUD has three LEDs that blink to tell you PPO2, I had one on my old KISS Classic. Golem Gear (now SubGravity) might have one or you might find a custom one on Shapeways but there are not a lot of options.

Correct. But the mount for standard HUD is ... not the best, let's say.

Yes, I still have one in a spares box. It works but it's "floppy". Golem Gear had one for the Shrimp BOV but I don't know about the Hollis BOV.

I actually liked this HUD, it was low profile and once you got used to the blink code, it was really easy to use.

I have nothing against HUD. My problem is with its mount. 50% time I dive off a boat I need to re-attach/correct/adjust it, and while this is not a problem in warm water doing so in dry gloves is a pain.

My shrimp fit the OEM Hollis mount right on it perfectly
