SECOND ANNUAL WINTER SCUBA EXPO.


SATURDAY, MARCH 15TH 9:30 am to 4:30 pm AT The Riveredge Resort,
17 Holland St. Alexandria Bay NY. “ In the heart of the Thousand Islands”.

SPONSORED BY 4TH COAST SCUBA CENTER, INC. and MIKE’S AQUATIC CENTER.

Non-divers are also welcome! Come join us for a day of guest speakers, diving tales, camaraderie, and a great time. Start thinking about all the fabulous fresh water wreck diving you can do this summer on the 4th coast! The visibility under the St. Lawrence River and lake Ontario is FANTASTIC! ITS NEVER BEEN BETTER!
Talk to experienced wreck divers; meet local celebrities and other divers. You may even find a new buddy to dive with! Get the real story on the proposed Seaway Expansion project, cross boarder requirements and more.

Entry fee is $10.00. Dutch lunch is available in the restaurant.

9:30 ….Expo begins Welcome guests-- Emcee Scott Vincent-Barwood- 4th Coast SCUBA Center, Inc.

9:15 to 10:30 … Speaker- Sal Pisani- Assoc Dir. St. Lawrence Seaway-The facts about the proposed Seaway expansion.

10:30 to 11:15 … Thom Rutledge- Northern Tech Divers…the Canadian perspective.

11:15 to 12:00 … Speaker- Dr. Ken Yates- Exec Director of Living Museum, Watertown
His experiences gathering ocean species for several major Seaquariums.

12:15 to 1:00 …lunch break. Lunch is available at the Riveredge restaurant.

1:00 to 1:45 … Speaker- Skip Couch- Wreck diving in the St. Lawrence River.

1:45 to 2:30 …Speaker-USCG -International border crossing requirements & boating safety.

2:30 to 3:15 …Break

3:15 to 4:00 …Speaker –Dr. Tim Able- Consulting Archaeologist Prehistoric Archaeology.

4:00 to 4:30 … Wrap up and General discussion.

Great info Bubble Boy! Will there be equipment on display or is this strictly speakers? Do you know if you can jump in anytime or are you expect to be there when they start?:)
