Sherwood Amphos Air 2.0 - Transmitter Will Not Connect

Hey guys, recently purchased a Sherwood Amphos Air 2.0 for the wife. I'm trying to set it up for for a trip to the Caribbean next week and the transmitter will not connect to the dive computer. I've installed new batteries, transmitter on HP port, and the air is flowing - approx 2800 PSI (Per another computer). The connection icon on the Amphos is blinking and the error message on the computer is, "tran 1 tran 2 not avail." Obviously it's not synching but I'm not sure if this unit is DOA out of the box or it needs to resynch since the batteries were dead. Unfortunately, the Sherwood manual is a bit light on troubleshooting connectivity problems.
