i've been trying to figure out how to find the average depth of a dive on my amphos. it doesn't come out on the history logs.

Why do you think there is one? The manual doesn't mention it...
On many computers, this is only available after downloading and software calculations on the dive profile.

Correct, may only be available on computer download. This may also be the source for calculation of RMV.
