SHIPWRECKS/2011

WELLAND, ONTARIO—(45 Minutes from Buffalo, 75 Minutes from Toronto)

The Niagara Divers’ Association will present its 17th Annual Shipwrecks Symposium on Saturday April 2, 2011. This one-day symposium on shipwrecks will feature multimedia presentations with internationally renowned speakers from both the United States and Canada. $38 CDN / US up to January 7, 2011; $43 CDN / US January 8 – February 28; 2011, $48 CDN / US after February 28, 2011; / lunch included.

This year, we are very excited to have eight primary multimedia presentations including;

Tom Wilson: Master of Ceremonies

Terry Dwyer: The Quest for Lost Shipwrecks

Cris Kohl & Joan Forsberg: Shipwreck Tales of the Great Lakes

Jonathan Moore: Discovery of the HMS Investigator

Jim Paskert: The Mystery of the C.B. Lockwood

Steve Schultz: Lost Villages & the Dominion Paper Factory

David Trotter: Silent Waters; Deadly Depths

Valerie van Heest: Lost on the Lady Elgin

Georgann & Mike Wachter: Sidewheel Treasure & Tragedy


Again for 2011, there will be several 5-minute shorts between the primary presentations introducing new speakers, and featuring several new discoveries.
